Friction is a design tool
New transaction flow

Safe is a crypto wallet where multiple people approve transactions together. In 2025, hackers stole $1.4B by making a transaction look legitimate while doing something different on-chain. I designed the screen that catches it.

Users spent 3 seconds on confirmation — sending $1B treated like ordering food. I introduced a receipt screen that mirrors your connected wallet's exact layout. Verification becomes instant.

3→17seconds

Before: 3 seconds, zero attention. After: 17 seconds — because verifying details became ridiculously easy, so users actually did it.

78% MetaMask

Data said most users use MetaMask. So I designed the new screen to match what those users already see every day. Familiarity is speed.

Adaptive layouts

Next iteration: adaptive layouts. The receipt reshapes itself based on which wallet you’re signing from. Same clarity, different context.

Deep delight

Users expected raw hex. They got a clean receipt. When the stakes are this high, delight isn't confetti — it's the moment you realize you can actually read what you're signing.
